Model of the process of diagnosing computer systems for the presence of polymorphic and metamorphic program code

This paper deals with the problem of detection of  polymorphic and metamorphic viruses. In particular, the paper analyzes the methods of detection. It was found that the existing methods are not able to fully carry out these types of virus detection software. By the analysis of the functioning of polymorphic and metamorphic viruses, we proposed a generalized model of polymorphic viruses based on their behavior when infected file. Based on the model of polymorphic viruses were proposed model of computer systems diagnosing the presence of polymorphic and metamorphic code
