Computer modeling of the process of vertical migration of radionuclides in a catalytic porous medium using parallel computing
Anatoliy Vlasiuk, Viktor Zhukovskyi, Nataliia ZhukovskaIn the paper the results of an application of computer modeling of vertical migration process of the pollutants in the catalytic porous media with filter traps are presented. The mathematical model takes into account micro and meso/macro scales factor of mass transfer process. It was obtained the numerical solution of respective one dimensional boundary value problem by the method of finite differences. Software implementation was done using multi-platform shared-memory parallel programming. All computer modeling experiments have been made using NanoSurface tool. Introduced algorithmic complexity of the sweep methods and calculated execution time for parallel calculation. C99 compiler specification took into account
