Modelling of the objects delivery system with unmanned aviation facilities

Maria Baraban, Oleksandr Bevz, Yaroslav Кulyk

In this article, a method is developed. This method allows reducing the delivery time of goods by UAVs by reducing the average waiting time for the delivery of one unit of goods, depending on the characteristics of the delivery system of goods. The conducted experimental studies prove the effectiveness of the developed method for the delivery systems of goods. It is proposed to carry out the service of orders for the delivery of goods not in the queue of appearance (the first in input, the first in output), and in turn, taking into account priority. The priority number is selected by the proportional distance to the delivery point. That is, the closest orders are served first, which, on average, shortens queuing times for most orders and total waiting time. The proposed method can be used to optimize the delivery of goods using small UAVs and it makes sense for mass use (of mass servise) under not very high delivery system load. This method can be used for the system of delivery of goods within a populated area or a certain territory
